All items donated to the Edward Teach Youth Sailing Association (ETYSA), a 501c-3 organization, are tax deductible. We would love a donation of your unused boat to resell to support our organization.
YOUR LEGACY COULD HELP ENSURE THE FUTURE OF SAILING
The love of sailing is one legacy some may desire to instill in future generations. The nonprofit ETYSA provides technical training to the sailors of the future and hopefully imbues them with the love of the sport. The organization requires assets to continue its mission. Volunteers have worked hard to raise funds and we are fortunate that the local sailing community has supported our efforts, but more is needed for the sustainability of ETYSA.
You can help us pass along your love of sailing. We ask you to support ETYSA now and after you cross the bar. Here are some ways you might accomplish that:
∙ Will bequests
∙ Transfer of stocks or mutual funds
∙ Beneficiary designation gifts – ETYSA can be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, annuity, trust, IRA, or other legal contracts
∙ Memorial or tribute contributions or gifts
∙ Endowments.
When you are considering a planned gift and/or bequest, please check with your attorney or financial adviser and make your desires/preferences known to your family. We hope that the close is like an elegant zephyr that billows the sail and gently moves you into another state of mind and spirit.
